I love to cater gorgeous weddings and be part of creating the perfect day for my clients. At a Divine Dish we specialise in the intimate boutique style wedding as I feel the food can be really showcased and you can connect with the clients and their guests without compromising exceptional service we offer. I try to cater only one a season due to the external workload of a Divine Dishes other services but there is quite a demand and I cannot resist taking on more and helping create a perfect day for these excited couples!
This season saw a cranking party of a barn style wedding, a few gorgeous weddings at the beautiful Beersheba Estate in Invercargill, one being the Hosts daughter, and a wonderful surprise wedding in the brides family garden.
Each wedding style is unique and I always work with my clients to develop a menu that is a perfect expression of the both of them as well as suiting their budget to the best that I can. The menus range from sharing plates around round tables with to continuous canapes being handed around. I do love the sharing plates – (table banquet idea) as it is a social sharing of food and is a lovely intimate way to dine. You can see all the food laid out in front of you and create the plate you love. I am grateful to all the beautiful couples I work with and the lovely places they take me!
