Creator, owner and operator of a Divine Dish
I have had a life-long obsession with food. Richness, bold flavours, luxurious taste sensations and decadence. This led me to cook and create, it just came naturally for me.
Since joining the work force 25 years ago I have always worked in hospitality. I started in cafes and worked my way up to cooking in restaurants and onto head chef roles by the age of 22.
In 2008 I started a Divine Dish in the form of an in-home cooking service called Kitchen Angel in Invercargill.
After seeing a gap in the market with people’s lives getting busier, I designed a business model that removed the meal time stress from busy households and cooked client’s meals for the week ahead.
The beauty of this was that everything was created from scratch so that my clients stopped dining on processed foods and takeaways and became healthier, happier households as a result!
“I love what I do and am highly passionate about this home grown Southern business.”
In 2010 I started catering at private functions which led to cooking lessons and teaching part time at Southern Institute of Technology when available.
The in-home cooking service ceased in 2017 due to the delivery service growing rapidly. Little did I know but Kitchen Angel was the seeds of the exclusive private chef service I now operate in the Queenstown Lakes region.
I love what I do and am highly passionate about this home grown Southern business. I am lucky to meet the most amazing humans through this and so many have helped me along the way.
Watching a Divine Dish grow into the vision I dreamed of many years ago, has been so satisfying.
Every meal and morsel is created from scratch with love and you can be assured that nothing leaves the kitchen unless it is DIVINE!
I hope you enjoy every exquisitely DIVINE mouthful!
