Jo, it is hard to know where to begin to convey to you the impact you made by catering for our special day in Alexandra on 16 February. As many people had travelled from Ireland, Australia and all over New Zealand I wanted something special for our ‘after wedding day’ celebrations, and it certainly was that.
Your food was absolutely delicious; everything was so fresh and flavourful, it was colourful and the presentation gorgeous. The fact that every dish was special on its own meant that when all were brought together it was WOW! Every course you brought out, from the platters through to the main dishes and then the exquisite sweets brought all the guests flocking to the table. I received so many compliments at the time and in the days after it was amazing.
I would also like to comment on your business acumen. From the moment I made my first contact via email, through to your phone call and our meeting to confirm details I had total confidence that all would go well. You showed such attention to detail, keeping in touch as alterations were made and providing me with the latest detailed menu immediately. You also catered for our gluten free guests without a second thought, which was so refreshing; they were able to enjoy the same food as everyone else.
It was a pleasure having you and Karla in the house, you were so efficient and unobtrusive and just fitted naturally into our group. You were an integral part of making the occasion just what I wanted it to be. Being able to enjoy the company of family and friends for the whole day while you looked after things was the best part of all.
