On a stunning February Saturday a Divine Dish had the pleasure of catering for Ash and Damo’s most exquisite Dalefield wedding. Set in the most perfect location amongst 15 acres of perfectly landscaped hills and carefully manicured private lakes, the beautiful couple were married on their family land. The beautiful Wakatipu mountains encapsulated this magnificant setting and made you feel like you were worlds away and quite protected.
The meal was a sharing plate style with every eight guests being presented platters and bowls of DIVINE goodness. This is such a lovely social way for guests to dine and removes the need for long ques and buffets. This was all executed from a mobile kitchen we set up in a small tent adjacent to the amazing stretch tent used for the celebrations.
All of the meticulous planning and details, down to the perfectly designed and crafted candles, was precisely executed to perfection by Ash and Damo themselves.
This wedding really was such a joy to cater, 140 excited guests, Central Otago sunshine, the most amazing grazing table courtesy of the Frenches and an amazing atmosphere of true love and unity!
I was utterly blessed to have yet another fantastic team of staff to help pull this together and keep my head on my shoulders!
