Seeking an experienced chef/ foodie to work part time in a growing role. You must be flexible and have the ability to take on more hours if needed.
A Divine Dish is a boutique culinary company offering a range of divine food services and as we grow we are now needing a rock star to join the team in a permanent part time role. Your standards must be impeccable as A Divine Dish has a reputation of excellence that we are proud of and that we strive to achieve each day. You will need to be an experienced foodie and be motivated by the challenge of providing perfection each time, whether it be at a clients house or working in our kitchen unsupervised or as part of a team moving quickly and efficiently to deliver our divine goodness.
Your hours will be varied and mainly throughout the day but flexibility is paramount as some weekend and evening work may be required through our busy times as we will travel out of Invercargill to cater functions occasionally. We envisage a starting point of 15 hours per week though through our Summer and into Autumn these hours will need to be extended. You must be happy and confident working alone once trained and have the ability to think on your feet. This role is varied and you will be cooking everything from ready made meals, to deli products, catering for large functions and intimate dinners.
The interview process will be in two parts, the first part oral and the second part practical where you will be expected to cook up a storm
